On this, his 9th studio album, Gil De Ray faces the demons and dreams left in the void of his elder brother’s untimely death in 2019.
Recorded between London and Helsinki with Parisian Benjamin Goursot, Yellow Eyes is a psychedelic journey to the centre of the soul. Evoking Elliot Smith and Lou Reed the 9 songs chart the depths of human relations with all its absurd sadness and joy.
This is a true psychedelic journey, woven tightly around an invocation of hallucinogens, the symbiotic nature of plants and humans and the desire to find a better understanding of consciousness and death.

This album is dedicated to the life and influence of my brother Mark Gilroy, who transcended this frequency on April 19th, 2019.
